Commissions

Commissions

How It Works

First, contact me with your commission idea. Please be as specific as you possibly can – include number of characters, costuming (if any), positioning, anything that you specifically want included in your commission. Please include your size preference (2.5″ x 3.5″ Sketchcard, 9″ x 12″ or 11x 14″).

Once received, I will provide you with a price quote. After we have agreed upon price, you will be required to sign a commission agreement that outlines everything we have agreed upon (including deadlines, delivery and shipping rates). I will also require 50% downpayment of the total cost before I start work.

Once the deposit has been received, I’ll finish the commission and ship you the saucy result. For private commissions, I generally do not provide roughs or sketches as you are paying for my artistic interpretation of your subject matter. I will however provide updates on my blog (unless you specifically request for no public updates to be made).

That’s it! Easy-peasy!

Commission Guidelines

• All commissions are for private and personal use only. You may not use the commission for profit, use it for commercial publication, or claim rights as your own work. I will retain all rights to the commissioned artwork, including the rights to distribute, to re-use any images produced for self promotion, prints, or however I see fit. However, in the event that you would prefer that your commission remain private, I’m sure we can come to some sort of an arrangement. But please be advised that additional fees may apply.

• At present, I am not accepting commercial commissions and I am currently only accepting commissions for pin-up and sketchcard art. No graphite portraits.

• All commission clients will be required to sign a detailed commission contract before any work begins. This protects you and this protects me.

• Commission prices vary depending on content, size, difficulty, number of characters, detail, etc. However, generally, my 9″ x 12″ full colour pin-up girls (with no or limited background) fall in the $50 to $75 range and my sketchcards usually start around $15.

• Payments are made via PayPal and are non-refundable.

• The commission client will be responsible for the cost of shipping. This will be quoted at the same time as the commission quote and will be outlined in the commission contract.

• All prices are expressed in U.S. dollars, and payments are expected to be made as such. You are responsible for sending the correct amount, equal to the listed U.S. dollar amount.

• I require a deposit of 50% of the total cost paid up front before I begin work. No exceptions.
